ChildFund International Finance and Operations Director Vcancy in Nairobi

ChildFund Kenya intends to recruit for the following positions for a forthcoming Orphans and Vulnerable Children program in one or two regions in Kenya
 
Finance and Operations Director

Duties / Responsibilities

The proposed Finance and Operations Director will oversee all financial and operational matters within the proposed project, including managing financial systems, generating financial reports, tracking expenses, administering sub-awards, managing finance and operational issues and staff at headquarters and supporting staff in county offices.
 
The position will be reporting to the Chief of Party (CoP).
 
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree or higher in accounting, finance, business management or a related field is required. 
  • Professional qualification CPA (K) or equivalent is a must.
  • S/he must have at least three years of experience managing the finances and operations of a large complex project involving multiple partners.
  • At least two years administering sub-grants under the proposed project
  • The candidate must have strong demonstrated leadership qualities, depth and breadth of technical and management expertise and experience, and strong Interpersonal, writing and oral presentation skills.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience with USAID-funded projects in a senior position is required
  • Two years of experience living or working in Kenya is required
