TEARFUND PROJECT OFFICER JOB IN KENYA

Post: Project Officer, Kenya High Intensity Area
Location: Nairobi

We are seeking an experienced Project Officer to provide programmatic and project management support to the Country Representative and partners ensuring that projects are implemented, monitored, evaluated and reported. The role has specific responsibility to identify innovative and effective ideas and approaches by partners, document and disseminate them for learning. Assess proposals and support partners in refining them before submission for approval.
Determine the capacity development requirements with partner programmes.
Carry out monitoring, reporting and evaluation, ensuring adherence to Tearfund Internal Programme Management System.
This position requires substantial qualifications in social/rural development or management studies, communication and financial management.
A minimum of 3 years experience in budget management, working with partner organisations and church leaders, participatory monitoring and evaluation and networking as well as development work with
International NGOs is required.
This role also requires a committed evangelical Christian who will be required to lead or participate in spiritual sessions of worship, prayer, and be committed to the outworking of Tearfund’s Missions, Values and Belief’s statement.
