The Postal Corporation of Kenya (PCK) invites qualified and interested applicants to fill the following positions, which are vacant:

Job Title: Motorbike Rider
 
Department: Operations & Customer Service

Key Responsibilities
  • Ride and deliver/collect postal items
  • Maintain the motorbike:
  1. In a presentable clean state.
  2. Check engine and gear box oil level as specified.
  3. Verify correctness of all tyres’ air pressure as specified in manufacturer’s manual and assess tyres’ tread, wear, evenness and damage.
  4. Ascertain the serviceability of all lights, horn, breaks, and accelerator and ensure the brakes and clutch systems are working properly.
  5. Ensure correct levels of fuel and two stroke oil.
  6. The number plates are secured properly.
  7. Traffic ordinance markings are securely embossed.
  8. Confirm validity of road license, insurance cover and all trafficators
  • Ensure compliance to proper traffic rules governing road usage in major towns.
  • Ensure paramount safety of motorbike and official items at all times.
  • Perform any other duty that may be assigned from time to time by the controlling officer.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Must be a holder of KCE Div IV or KCSE mean grade of D+ (Plus) and above
  • Must be of high integrity
  • Must be a holder of a valid motorbike driving license
  • Ability to transact counter duties
  • Should be smart and presentable
  • Must be 30 years and below
  • Must pass practical test
