Position: Application Support – IT Senior Analyst

Our client a global leader in Business Process and Technology Management seeks to recruit an Application Support – IT Senior Analyst with an experience to manage the Application Support role including managing back end issues for Oracle Financials, setting up and managing the scheduled programs and troubleshooting user issues globally.
Duties and Responsibilities
Managing backend issues for Oracle Financials
Setting up and managing the scheduled programs and troubleshooting user issues globally
Implementing systems, but also supporting, administration and maintenance of already
existing systems
Ensuring quality services are delivered and performed to the agreed standards
Minimizing service disruption and the facilitation of services restoration within agreed standards
Developing and maintaining Application Support standards, procedures and other documentation as required
Managing the Application Support role internationally
Key Qualifications and Experience
Degree/ Advanced Diploma in computer science, IT, software engineering
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position
Good understanding of Oracle Financials, setting up and managing the scheduled programs
Ability to manage accounting software
Technical expertise in User Support, systems maintenance and understanding of web enabling technology
Experience with administrative systems and report writing skills
Considerable computing experience, including delivering support for database applications in a variety of professional environments
Considerable experience in dealing with a wide range of users at all levels in an organization
Understanding of IT Services supporting these Business activities
