FMCG Sales & Marketing Senior Executive,Procurement and Logistics Manager, Financial Manager jobs in Kenya

We are recruiting for one of our clients an FMCG company for the below positions;
Position: Sales & Marketing Senior Executive
 
Ref: DBC/M/01/2013

The position is for those candidates who are ready to achieve targets and/or deliver results leadingthe sales network both online and field
  • Building client relationship
  • Identifying and managing business products opportunities
  • Ensuring achieved targets
  • Follow up and update on field sales personnel
  • Producing of sales reports and projected sales on a monthly basis.
  • Formulate, review and implement marketing policies which can benefits company output
  • Re-analyze the pricing methods
Requirements
  • Have minimum of 4 years in business and account management
  • Thorough marketing skills in FMCG
  • At least 3 years in sales and marketing field
  • Diploma in sales and marketing is also preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Bcom in Marketing or(in related filed)
  • Related Master’s degree preferred
Position: Procurement and Logistics Manager
 
Ref: DBC/L/01/2013
  • Thorough conversant with Kenya Procurement Act 2005/2006
  • Ensure compliancy with tenders
  • Full management and supervision to ensure purchases, LPOs, tenders and logistics dutiesare timely.
  • Ensure accurate inventory supply at all times.
  • Ensure the suppliers contract are in order and comply with the law
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, standards and guidelines in the purchasing field.
  • Finding good suppliers and evaluate them on multiple criteria (price, quality, service support, availability, reliability, selection, etc.).
  • Study catalogs, industry and company publications, directories, and trade journals, Internet.
  • Reputation and history of a supplier is important when soliciting for bids.
  • Use meetings, trade shows, conferences, and suppliers’ plants and distribution centers to inspect products and services, assess a supplier’s production and distribution capabilities, and discuss other relevant considerations.
  • Be familiar with the technical aspects of the goods or services you purchase.
Requirements
  • 10+ years in procurement and/or logistics as the department head
  • Aged over 30yrs
  • Certificate in Supply chain and/or Procurement and /or purchasing (must be a registered member)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Bcom (in related filed)
  • Related Master’s degree preferred
  • In depth knowledge of different ERP
Position: Financial Manager
 
Ref: DBC/F/02/2013

This position is for Real Financial expertise / Gurus who can run the accounts /finance department and implement system and accounting rollover from scratch
  • Ensure that appropriate financial regulations and controls are in place and in use
  • Advice on the proper allocation of resources.
  • Direct the organization’s financial goals, objectives, and budgets.
  • Responsible for overseeing cash management activities; execute capital-raising strategies
  • Responsible for developing and managing the Accounts personnel.
  • Overseeing accounting functions includes ensuring timely and accurate reporting of financial information, handling yearly audits, short- and long-term financial forecasting, and working as part of the Company executive management team.
  • Responsible of verifying stock on monthly reports;
  • Ensuring timely cash flows and banking working capital management
  • Authorize vendors invoices against delivery note and physical deliveries
  • Ensure supplies are received as per order and agreed upon price list for the year;
  • Keep track of all company expenses against the approved budget for the year and timely
  • Handling wage and salary authorization and transfer the same through bank
  • Producing month-end accounts, along with comparisons to help forecast business earnings.
  • Timely and accurate bank reconciliation
  • Control of general ledger and reconciliations.
  • Develop change management control during Implementation of inventory and accounting software rollover of the company
  • Prepare audit paperwork in accordance with standards and requirements
  • Establish working relationships with company's staff, business partners and clients
  • Analyze and evaluate the accuracy of accounting systems and procedures
  • Review, develop and recommend changes in accounting systems and controls
  • Analyze and recommend changes in internal audit controls
  • Ensure compliance with local audit policies and regulations ,all Tax issues
  • Identify and evaluate procedures and policies in tax reporting processes
  • Maintenance of fixed asset register
2. Financial, Budgeting and Planning
  • Responsible for overall management of the business plan.
  • Responsible for business planning for the Accounts, liaising with Procurement department and ensure funds are available for smooth running of the business.
  • ICS control ,implementation and monitoring
  • preparation of management and end year financial accounts
  • Implement finance and procurement policy manuals
3. Risk & Project Management
  • Develop and maintain a risk management strategy and ensure all risk areas are covered and insured.
  • Develop and implement systems, policies and procedures for identification, collection and analysis of risk related information.
  • Evaluate adequacy and effectiveness of controls and methodology established by management to ensure that identified risks are appropriately mitigated at both strategic and operational level.
  • Participate in the formulation and review of risk management and control activities for the service to ensure they meet the set objectives and are worthwhile investments.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of major Financial experience, including responsibility and leadership of projects
  • Over 30yrs
  • Certified Public Accountant (must be a registered member)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Bcom (Finance or Accounting option)
  • Related Master’s degree preferred
  • In depth knowledge of different ERP
