Programme Manager job in Kilifi - Moving the Goalposts

Moving the Goalposts is looking for a dynamic Programme Manager to lead the programme team for effective and efficient quality programme implementation for delivery of the organizations strategic and annual results.

Job Title: Prgoramme Manager

Reporting to:
Executive Director

Location: Kilifi

Salary: Negotiable

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage, plan, coordinate, implement and monitor day to day programming activities of the organization Manage the effective and efficient use of programme resources
  • Manage annual work planning and review processes
  • Produce high quality programme reports as required
  • Maintain effective partnerships at all levels
  • Liaise with the Executive Director on strategy and policy development
  • Support the Executive Director in proposal writing, funding, networking and building partnerships
  • Support the Executive Director in organizational growth and expansion of MTG programme
  • Any other duties as delegated by the Executive Director
Qualifications:
  • Advanced University degree in relevant area or equivalent experience
  • Good knowledge of and technical expertise in two or more of the following areas: sports and development, gender, HIV, sexual and reproductive health, gender based violence, education, economic empowerment, advocacy, working with youth, young women, rights, youth leadership
  • Good strategic and work planning skills, knowledge of rights based and results based planning and management approaches an advantage
  • At least 3 years of relevant and progressively senior management experience
  • Excellent English communication skills, good Swahili an advantage
  • Demonstrated excellent English writing abilities
