- Applicant must be holder of at least a Bachelors Degree in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Information Technology or other related qualifications
- Have at least three 3 years of relevant work experience in web/database applications development
- Have proven experience in building web applications and database-driven websites
- Have experience with MySQL server queries and stored routines
- Be proficient in HTML,CSS,AJAX and JavaScript (and related libraries such as Jquery)
- Have demonstrable experience in PHP technologies-PHP5, MVC Frameworks, deep understanding of Object-Oriented programming and web services (REST, SOAP & JSON)
- Be able to work with Content Management Systems like Joomla, Drupal
- Have experience in customizing and further developing Open Source Software
- Demonstrate appreciation of cross-browser compatibility and web standards
