Coffee Board Of Kenya Data Assistant Vacancy

The Coffee Board of Kenya (Board) is a State Corporation established under the Coffee Act No. 9 of 2001 & is charged with the responsibility of promoting competitiveness in the Coffee Industry, Production, Processing and Branding of Kenyan Coffee and generally to regulate the Coffee Industry in the Public interest. The Board wishes to fill the following vacant positions with dynamic, results- oriented and self driven individuals:

Duties and Responsibilities
This is a one (1) year renewable contract reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance section, an officer at this level will be responsible for the following: –

  • Collect, collate & analyze data on Coffee Industry along the entire value chain;
  • Prepare regular management reports on Coffee statistics
  • Collect and analyze global Coffee Data & statistics
  • Maintain an updated Coffee database
  • Issuance of Coffee Market documentation to stakeholders
  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Requirements for Appointment
  • Must have a Diploma in Database Management or a related field from a recognized institution
  • Must have a Certificate in SPSS or Statistics from a recognized institution
  • Served in a comparable and relevant position in a reputable organization for a minimum period of two (2) years
  • Must have attained at least a C- (minus) grade in KCSE or equivalent qualification
  • Must be of high integrity and a team player
  • Must be fluent in English and Kiswahili
