Dawa Limited is a fully fledged pharmaceutical manufacturing company that manufactures quality healthcare products for human and veterinary use. The company is based in a good location just outside northern Nairobi, Kenya.
The company is currently undergoing a comprehensive expansion consisting of the renovation of the Beta Lactam department to be completed in November 2013, the General Block renovation to be completed by end of 2014 and a new finished-goods warehouse and administration block to be completed by mid-2015.
In order to achieve their vision, Dawa Ltd is seeking Chief of Operations (COO) to provide exemplary strategic leadership to the company, leading to corporate growth as well as attainment of the established strategic goals and objectives; whilst ensuring that the company retains the best talents and that staff are well motivated and their capacities are fully utilized for personal and corporate growth.
The COO would be the carrier of the company’s vision, mission and values. He/ she must be a Mentor, Operator and Strong Planner. The right person would have an external and internal focus for driving the growth strategy.
In addition the successful candidate must have the following:
- Must have been in the manufacturing field for at least 10 years. Pharmaceutical experience a clear advantage.
- An ability to introduce new, brands that meet specific customer needs.
- Possessing an MBA and managing Financials is essential.
- Over 5 years experience at a Senior Operational Level a must.
