Corporate & Institutional Banking Relationship Managers - 3 positions
 
Business Banking Relationship Managers - 3 positions
 
Reporting to: The Relationship Managers for C&I Banking and Business Banking will report to the Director Corporate & Institutional Banking and Director Retail & Business Banking, respectively.
Role
 
The RMs will be responsible for leading the development and growth of C&l and Business banking portfolios of the bank.
They will be responsible for acquiring clients, developing deep business links between the bank and its clients while ensuring superior customer relationship management and a good quality portfolio is maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a Strategic Plan for balance sheet growth and execute these plans in line with the Bank’s overall business growth strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and new business acquisition through market research, analysis and networking.
  • Develop, grow and maintain a strong client and transaction pipeline and convert these to booked profitable businesses that achieve the banks financial budgets and strategic goals
  • Actively market and drive the uptake of the bank services and products to new and existing Business and C&I clients. Identify opportunities for cross-selling of relevant products and services to the existing customer base.
  • Conduct preliminary credit reviews for new and existing facilities in line with the Bank’s credit policy. Manage clients’ portfolios and liaise with Credit Management to drive lending approval process.
  • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of clients’ profitability performance and ensure compliance to the bank’s risk framework and profitability objectives.
  • Ensure day-to-day client relationship management and engagement with customers to foster a good and lasting business partnership of the bank and its clients.
  • Promote excellent customer service by driving and advocating customer requirements through the various functions in the bank to deliver high service standards that delights the banks customers.
Qualifications, Experience, Competencies & Attributes
  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline backed by evidence of competence and experience in Relationship Management role in a bank.
  • Minimum of five years of Relationship Management/corporate business development experience gained in a mid-tier or large bank.
  • Good working knowledge of credit processes, credit risk analysis, financial analysis and interpretation.
  • Proven customer relationship management skills and high customer service standards
  • Strong networking, relationship management and communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate opportunity to a business pipeline.
  • A track record of driving business and profit growth in a leading commercial bank.
  • Demonstrated ethical behavior and high integrity standards.
