To be based in Nairobi with frequent travel to sites across the country, the Electrician will be responsible to the Electrical Engineer.
Responsibilities
Installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in the sites;
Maintenance and servicing of standby generators;
Motor rewinding and maintenance;
Diagnosing electrical faults and ensuring timely attendance to the same;
Requisitioning and verification of quality electrical spares and accessories;
Observing and complying with environmental, health and safety measures and regulations.
Requirements
‘O’ Level Division II or KCSE ‘C’ Plain or above
Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Hands-on experience in PLCs and VFD control systems
Knowledge of Gemba Kaizen methodology and facilitation
At least five (5) years relevant working experience;
Computer literacy.
