Reports to: Director, Wavetec System Integration (WSi)

Major Job Responsibility:
To manage, accelerate growth as well as generate new business leads for Wavetec within East Africa

Major Job Descriptions

Ensure to meet Quarterly Sales Target of Wavetec in the region.
Public Relations management on behalf of wavetec for all major clients and also manage all existing company partnerships and collaborations with a major aim to drive more sells with existing clients.
 Ensure Release of payment from the customer once the system is installed / commissioned.
Responsible for submitting maintenance contract to the customer once the system is out of warranty
 Discussion with Wavetec top management about sales and marketing strategies in the region
 Preparation of monthly regional performance reports to the management.
Ensure high level of service & customer satisfaction with all regional/international clients and distributors.
Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs to top management of potential clients whenever necessary.
Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education to clients, if required.
 Ensure that all regional distributors have the relevant knowledge to carry out their
duties/roles and to support them frequently whenever needed. The Business Development Executive should also coordinatewith HR to arrange any relevant training for new distributors if required.
Research on potential clients and pursue new business relationships through personal network and otherrelevant avenues.
Ensure generation of recurrent sales from existing clients within East Africa

Key Requirements
 At least 5-6 yearswork experience of Business Development and/or Selling IT Solutions and Services, preferably with some leading IT organizations
 Business or Computer Science graduate with some Selling/Sales training. MBA or MIS is an added advantage
 Good understanding of IT outsourcing and IT Systems Integration business Strong networking and relationships skills within Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, Uganda and Ethiopia.
Good personality with good English and local language communication/presentation skills.
 Excellent reporting skills
