Summary: Our client has successfully grown into one of Kenya’s largest chains of hospitals. In slightly over 10 years the hospital has expanded to meet the growing demand for its services to the women and their families.


Job Objective: Support the development and lead in implementation of the company’s credit control policies, processes, procedures and strategies in minimizing the company’s exposure to credit risk which leads to financial loss.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Leading the implementation of the credit control policy, monitoring and advising changes.
  • Managing developing and maintaining of efficient admission, discharge, billing procedures
  • Managing the  collection of  debts
  • Managing the legal proceedings where necessary to ensure outstanding debts are bought to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Leading and ensuring update of the company’s new credit management procedures, techniques and participate in overseeing key accounts and customer relationship management
  • Managing the preparation of management and financial reports in relation to receivables
  • Leading, developing and implementing  service level agreement and executing 3rd Party contracts
  • Developing, training, motivating and evaluating departmental staff to achieve highest levels of performance
  • Identifying, implementing and benchmarking best practices in management
  • Determining & coordinating departmental reporting and communication requirements
  • Be responsible for preparation and monitoring of the credit delivery, monthly, quarterly and annual plans/budget. 
  • Identify risks that are inherent in advancing credit services and advice on measures to mitigate the risk
  • Ensure Superior Customer Experience to all internal and external clients
  • Collection of all due debts
  • Reconciliation of all debtors’ ledgers

Skills and Certification:
  • B.Com Finance/Accounting or any other discipline
  • CPA (K)/ACCA
  • Diploma in credit management
  • Membership of a professional body
