Sales Supervisor, Sales Representative and Brand Manager Jobs in Kenya

A leading food processing company in Kenya with high profile brands is looking for suitable candidates to fill the following positions in the company on urgent basis:

Field Sales Supervisor
Job Purpose: 
To ensure that regional set sales targets are achieved and all our customers pay their deliveries as per the agreed society terms and conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of the sales force, develop quality sales plan that will ensure the society achieve its short, medium and long term business objectives.
  • In liaison with the management, play a key role in the development of short, medium and long term sales growth targets.
  • Ensure that the set sales targets in both sales and debt collections are achieved by the sales team.
  • Monitor, analyze, evaluate and report on market achievements and potential daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Closely monitor market trends and gather market intelligence information to management for action.
  • Manage and control trade debtors for all regions by adhering to the company credit policy.
  • Develop regional itineraries for the sales team and ensure they are reviewed regularly based on market demands and growth.
  • Ensure efficient and effective customer services as clearly defined by society service charter.
The applicant should posses the following academic qualifications and competencies:-
  • A Bachelor’s degree in social sciences preferably (Bachelor of Commerce – Marketing).
  • Diploma in sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum five years experience as a customer service Representative preferably in FMCG. Preferably.
  • Exceptional good negotiation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (articulate) coupled with good listening and critical reasoning skills.
  • Good report writing skills coupled with excellent presentation skills.
  • Minimum three years driving experience.
Brand Manager 
 (2 Positions)
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and marketing support to sales managers and sales representatives;
  • Contribute to the development and preparations of media reports and tools for improving communication to the target market;
  • Manage marketing projects, develop and maintain marketing budgets, cost control and cost tracking;
  • Coordinate new products developments at the conception stage to commercialization stage;
  • Act as the eye and ear on the ground by gathering market intelligence comments on company products.
  • Develop above the line and below the line advertisements and other marketing tools.
The applicant should posses the following academic qualifications and competencies:-
  • A Bachelor’s degree in social sciences preferably (Bachelor of Commerce – Marketing).
  • MBA degree will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum 3 years experience as a customer service Representative preferably in FMCG. Preferably.

  • Member of MSK.

Sales Representative 
( 1 position)
Job Purpose

In charge of Hotel, Restaurants and cafeteria
Duties:
  • Ensure sales volume are achieved
  • Be in-charge of overall market development in Hotels, restaurants and cafeteria (HORECA) markets and any other customers portfolio.
  • Follow up all customers to ensure payments and account reconciliation.
  • Act as the link between our customers and the office through correspondence.
  • Keep updated database of all the distributors and other customers and their designated areas of coverage.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in social sciences preferably (Bachelor of Commerce – Marketing).
  • Diploma in sales and marketing will be an added advantage.
