Bukura Agricultural College is a State Corporation in the Ministry of Agriculture. 

The College offersmiddle level training in agriculture and related fields. 

The College seeks to recruit self motivated, dynamic and results oriented person to fill the following vacancy.

Job Description
 
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail
  • reviewing and developing audit techniques and procedures for finances; 
  • carrying out comprehensive audits assignments and investigations; 
  • drawing and implementing audit programmes;
  • issuing audit report queries and observations, undertaking frequent and regular audits to ensure compliance with approved management policies, procedures and control systems; 
  • reviewing and recommending sound internal financial control systems; and 
  • preparing monthly, quarterly and annual audit reports.
Job Specifications
 
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:

(i) Part III of CPA (K) or its approved equivalent qualification OR a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or Commerce or any other relevant equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
 
(ii) Proficiency in computer applications;
 
(iii) Served in a comparable and relevant position for a minimum period of three (3) years in a busy organization; and
 
(iv) Shown merit and ability in work performance and results.

Certified Internal Auditor professional certificate will be an added advantage.

Salary Scale for the advertised post

BAC 6:  Ksh. 33,988 X 1699 - 35,687 X 1784 - 37,471 X 1874- 39,344 X 1967- 41,311 X 2066 - 43,377
