TERRITORY MANAGER-KENYA & ETHIOPIA

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary: Our client is a premier Indian company, engaged in manufacturing of comprehensive range of diagnostic reagent testing kits, supplying Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Hospitals and Blood Banks.
They are expanding rapidly the sales and distribution network in Africa, thereby will be forming one company in Uganda, to focus on East African territories. To pursue this goal further, they are recruiting to direct sales and marketing activities in Kenya and Ethiopia.

Key responsibilities:
Develop and deliver national/regional business plans to ensure optimum achievement of set targets.

Achieve budgeted figures quarterly and annually.
Develop plans and strategies to increase the sales of the products with consultation with the
superiors.
Timely reporting of activities to the reporting manager.
Effective tour planning the measurable objectives.
Monitor and drive sales targets;
Create new customers and maintaining existing ones in assigned territory.
Handle complains of customers and providing application support.
Provide training (how to use the products) to the Laboratory technicians when required.
Perform demonstrations of the products to the end users wherever required.
Maintain and develop distributor network.
Manage supply chain effectively and efficiently.
Ensure optimum inventory management.

Qualification:
A degree in Sciences preferably in the Microbiology or Biochemistry.
Should have at least 3-5 years experience in medical devices & reagents (pathology related) sales.
Exposure to Hospital based Laboratory, Standalone Pathology Laboratory, Blood Banks in Kenya and Ethiopia.
Marketing and customer service knowledge as well as sales and product marketing experience.
Knowledge of the medical/healthcare industry.
Should be Kenyan national, preferably based at Nairobi.
Should be young, dynamic, confident and must be a go-getter.
Should be ready for extensive travel.
Demonstrated leadership and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
