MONITORING AND EVALUATION OFFICER JOB IN KENYA

Help Mission Development Services (HMDS) is a local NGO working with children and youth in the fields of education (primary schools) and vocational training (youth polytechnics) in the Rift Valley Province.

Monitoring & Evaluation Officer

One (1) Post

Type of Contract: Three Years contract - renewable annually.

The applicant must have experience in the field of vocational training for at least 3 years – especially in project monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, Tracer Study, capacity building and report writing.

Roles and Responsibilities



Coordination of project implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
Coordination of project performance and report writing.
Coordination programme roll out as required and participating in programme re-design.
Collection of data for the quarterly, half-year and annual reports and report writing
Monitoring and recording of project impact assessment.
Coordinate and work with other personnel.
Professional and analytical quality assurance

Qualifications and Experience

Higher diploma / degree in any of the following disciplines: Project Management, Strategic Management, Development studies or Business Administration from a recognized Institution.
Attended Monitoring and Evaluation seminars lasting not less than four (4) weeks in a recognized Institution.
Demonstrated experience in project monitoring and evaluation.
Knowledge of Tracer study, capacity building will be an added advantage.
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
