CATERER JOB IN KENYA

CATERER
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the caterer will be responsible for the following duties.
Duties:
• Supervise, and participate in the preparation of staff meals in a variety of world Cuisines.
• Ensure that the meals are produced in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure meals meet international quality standards of taste and presentation.
• Ensure the development of new menus based on meals trends and client requests.
• Tracking meals costs and assists in the development of budgets.
• Ensure implementation of effective cost controls without compromising quality and service
standards.
• Ensure adequate and optimal resource planning/allocation.
• Ensure awareness and compliance to all Health & Safety work practices and regulations.
Qualification:
• Diploma in Food and Beverage Management from a recognized Institution
• Must have previous experience in a similar role and with demonstrated business awareness.
• Must have previous experience in developing budgets; forecasts and managing food costs.
• Must be focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service.
• Must be self-driven and detail-orientated with the ability to organize and plan ahead.
• Must have the ability to lead, multi-task, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced
environment.
• Must have high integrity
• Must be Computer Literate.
• Supervises contracted caterers to ensure good services for a large number of staff.
