General Manager - Business Development
The General Manager will manage the Corporate Planning portfolio of the Corporation by ensuring appropriate business planning, proper feasibility studies and Environmental Impact Assessment.

General Manager - Business Development

Reporting to the Managing Director, the General Manager, Business Development will be responsible for coordinating and advising the Managing Director on all aspects of Corporate Planning as well as Strategy development, marketing and research.
She/He will be charged with spearheading strategic management process in the Corporation, review of existing business structures and identification of new business opportunities.
She/ He will also be responsible for projects forecasting, programmes appraisal, performance contracts monitoring and evaluations, alignment of NHC programmes to Government Strategies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or equivalent
- A Masters degree in Business Administration or its equivalent.
- A relevant professional registration or qualification.
- Exposure in the housing sector will be an added advantage.
- Fourteen (14) years work experience eight (8) of which should have been served at a Senior Management Position in marketing and business development.
- Possess good interpersonal skills and a broad understanding of the housing industry in Kenya
- Be a team player, customer focused and change oriented.
- Be computer literate.
This position is on a three (3) year renewable contract term and the successful candidate will be subject to performance contracting.
