County SACCO Society Ltd., a fully licensed SACCO Society by SASRA authority seeks to recruit qualified and competent Chief Executive Officer to fill the vacant position.

Job Summary: The job holder will provide technical and overall growth of the organisation. 

The officer will be required to work closely with Board of Directors and manage the affairs of the organisation prudently. 


Reporting to the Board of Directors, the individual will provide leadership and strategic direction to the organization, guiding it to achieve its ambitious vision of success.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the society’s correspondences are correctly attended to.
  • Advise the Board of Directors and implement its policies and decisions.
  • To arrange in consultation with the Chairperson the calling of meetings as and when necessary.
  • Ensure filling of annual returns, audited accounts, indemnity forms and declaration of wealth by board.
  • Implement recommendations set forth in the audit reports and those issued by the Supervisory Board.
  • To ensure compliance with the act, regulations, co-operative act, SACCO by laws and any other applicable law.
  • To ascertain adherence of the established code of conduct.
  • To generally manage and cause to be managed the affairs of the society and perform any other task as may from time to time be directed by the board of directors.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A business related degree from a recognised University.
  • C.P.A (K), Diploma in Co-operative Management or Banking.
  • A minimum of (5) years of relevant progressive working experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of SACCO policies and procedures.
  • Should be a computer literate.
  • Should be at least 28 years and above.
