It is our goal to provide affordable, accessible and hygienic sanitation services to individuals, thereby making a valuable contribution to their communities.
We have launched over 250 Fresh Life Toilets in Nairobi and plan to expand rapidly in the upcoming period. Job Summary
- analytical, technical, and administrative work in the installation of new and existing personal computer hardware and software;
- diagnoses and resolves problems in response to customer reported incidents;
- works with end users to determine types of hardware and software required;
- installs new hardware and software and maintains existing components;
- trains end users in the use of equipment and software;
- performs general maintenance tasks; troubleshoots and resolves issues with computer systems and peripheral equipment located throughout the organization;
- assists end users in the piloting of new technologies,
- prepares progress reports and evaluates products for compatibility, expandability, and ease of use.
Responsibilities
- Promoting high levels of customer satisfaction within the IT operations by timely issue resolution and proactive communication with the customers.
- Perform daily system/network monitoring; verifying the integrity and availability of all services and key functions.
- User support for Microsoft applications, Google Applications, Salesforce.com, Dropbox. PC hardware, printers and mobile devices.
- Installing and configuring software and hardware operating systems and applications;
- Virus protection maintenance, updates to Antivirus software definitions, subscriptions, programs, procedures, and recovery when required.
- Printing support to local and network printers and printer maintenance.
- Supporting the roll-out of new applications, supporting customers in adapting to new systems and gathering customer feedback.
- Prepare reference materials for users by writing operating manuals for new software and hardware applications.
- Coordinate training for new staff for all software and hardware applications
- Maintain an inventory of all company computer hardware and software applications.
- Provide applications programming support for in-house software development projects

Academic & Professional Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Information Systems or related field
Certification in related fields is a plus.
Technical Skills and Experience
Technical Skills and Experience
- Experience with desktop operating systems including Windows and Mac OS X
- Experience with network configuration, utilization review and performance monitoring.
- Experience in working in SaaS environments.
- Customer and business support experience
- 2 years’ experience working with Microsoft Applications, Salesforce.com and Google Applications
- 2 years’ experience working in Networks Support.

- Ability to adapt communication style for varying audiences to explain needs and means with clarity and understanding.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening, and questioning skills.
