A leading and fast growing MFI which provides structured finance is seeking to recruit an experienced, result-oriented and a professional of impeccable character to fill the following position.

Business Development Manager 
The position requires a mature, result oriented, highly qualified and an experienced professional with good track record in analyzing and growing specified products, capable of strategically driving the company to greater heights of growth.

Responsibilities 
The individual will mainly focus on growing business capacity to bring in targeted growth within the specified time period.

The individual will partner with the clients to understand business needs and crafting solutions to meet those needs.
Market survey and gathering market intelligent information to strategize and deal with competition for the different products.
Monitor products performance and products growth and responsible for successful management and delivery of products
Manage product/ mix, pricing and margins based on application rates and with the company’s strategy.
Daily report making to the management on efforts and plans to grow the products
Partner with, other Managers to anticipate products needs and identify best–practice then work to transform these requirements into a strategic development plans which will build capacity. Responsible for the identification and resolution of issues that may impact products deliverables and timelines.
Work closely with the management in identifying opportunities and responding to request from clients.
Research, design, and develop campaigns and come up with effective strategies to increase capacity.
Undertake business development activities and assignments. Manage direct sales team to beat targeted capacity.

Qualification and competence 
Holder of Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business related field.
At least 7 years of field experience in product development and must be Innovative, creative and results oriented
Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills and Ability to execute business plans and concepts effectively
Ability to conceptualize research and evaluate new ideas objectively from a market and financial standpoint.
Knowledge and experience on sales, marketing and capacity building
