Job Description
SUMMARY:

We are a new recruiting process outsourcing company that provides human resource services to companies in Kenya and throughout Africa. We are based in the US operations in Nairobi and expanding soon to Nakuru. Currently we are looking for new staff to join our core service center team.

As a Recruiting Assistant you job role will be to support applicants as they progress from start to finish through our recruiting process. In this role you will required to do a variety of tasks which you will be trained on how to execute. As the recruiting process can require several steps, you will focus on each of these steps throughout your training and in practice until you have mastered them. Ideally you may even come up creative ways to improve the process by making it better, faster, or cheaper to deliver. You will be measured on the
daily productivity you generate at each step of the process with minimum targets to meet each day. This an entry level role for someone that wants to be part of a fast, young, dynamic, energetic, and fun team that is results oriented and understand customer service.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Formulation of job description
Coordinate the requisition process by populating job posting information in the Applicant Tracking System, pulling recruiting reports, developing content for advertisements and/or other recruitment websites on the internet
Opening and closing job requisitions orders appropriately. In addition, post vacancies online to various job boards, forums, blogs, social media site, etc.
Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using the Applicant Tracking System, networking, internet recruiting resources, cold calls, and employee referrals
Updating the Applicant Tracking System with activity information (i.e. dates offers were given, candidate response, logging phone calls, etc)
Contact applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration, and selection
Inform potential applicants about facilities, operations, benefits, and job or career opportunities in organizations
Screen and refer applicants to hiring personnel in the organization, making hiring recommendations when appropriate
Scheduling interviews for the candidates and proper follow-ups with the prospective candidates until they complete all the rounds of interview
Conduct interviews
Conduct reference and background checks on applicants
Serving as a point of contact for all candidates in the database.
Advise candidates
Continuously improve procedures
