IT Manager

Job Purpose

To develop and maintain a structured environment that will facilitate the development and on-going maintenance of IT within the Club.

Qualifications and Experience

A University degree in IT or related field.
MSCE, CCNA, highly required.
Hands on Experience on Server administration, ERP systems, Database servers, Mail servers, Web Programming and Backup Systems.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a busy environment preferably the hospitality industry with at least 2 years in a managerial post.
Excellent communication, analytical, planning and reporting skills.

Golf Course & Estate Supervisor



Background and scope

Directs, manages and ensures proper maintenance and the development of Karen Country Club golf course and estate.

This is a professional position involving managerial responsibilities and advanced technical knowledge in golf course design and maintenance but must also anticipate and implement all golf course maintenance practices as such, this is a “hands on” position requiring participation in many daily tasks while managing the ground staff.


Qualifications and Experience

Formal Qualifications in Green keeping/ Turf Management
At least 5years’ experience in green keeping gained at a selection of top class golf courses.
Must be a Certified Agrochemicals user and possess training in Health and Safety.
Knowledge on the game of golf
Knowledge of the use of turf and landscaping equipment including tractors, mowers, strimmers, electric motors, pumps, sprinklers and Irrigation systems with particular emphasis on Toro machines.
Experience in preparation of courses to PGA tournament standards and maintenance of sand based greens
Experience in building tees, greens and bunkers
Excellent communication, analytical, planning and reporting skills.
