Our client in the Retail Industry is seeking to recruit highly competent, pro-active and self-driven individuals for the
positions of:

MARKETING EXECUTIVE
Reference: HCBS92
Location: Nairobi, Kenya

REPORTING TO: Sales and Marketing Manager

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Marketing Executive is responsible for the marketing and advertising of the retail merchandise to sell in the shops.

MAIN DUTIES:
• Design the visual displays for creating and maintaining a compelling presentation of merchandise that will
engage customers and help stimulate sales activity
• Execute visual presentation [shelving, fixtures, etc] changes as required
• Ensure the cleanliness and functionality of fixtures, signage, lights, and equipment.
• Ensure the brand, image and style of the company is projected at all times
• Carriers out all duties related to advertising, promotion, direct marketing
• Analyze consumer buying patterns and predicting future trends;
• Regularly reviewing performance indicators, e.g. sales and discount levels;
• Managing plans for stock levels;

• Meeting suppliers and negotiating terms of contract;
• Assist the CEO and Sales and Marketing Manager in sourcing new suppliers for future products;
• Writing reports and forecasting sales levels;
• Liaising with shop staff to ensure product/collection supply meets demand;
• Seeking merchandise feedback from customers;
• Training and mentoring junior staff.
• Monitors and reports on product of the competitions
• Perform any other duties within the scope and intent of the job as may be assigned from time to time

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
• Diploma in Fashion, Marketing, Sales.
• 3 - 5 year experience in retail sales
• Negotiation skills;
