Taita Resource Center is a nonprofit making community based organization in Mwatate Constituency Taita Taveta County.
Our mission is to empower rural and urban poor citizens on socio-economic and transformative development.
Through the human rights education and advocacy program, Taita Resource Center (TARC) seeks to implement a land advocacy program in Taita Taveta County for a period of 5 months.
The objective of the project is to enhance public participation and engagement on land legislation and increase lobbying efforts that will lead to solving some of the land issues in Taita Taveta County.
TARC is therefore recruiting facilitator who meets the following qualifications
Qualifications
· Have a strong back ground on land issues and its implications in Taita Taveta County.
· Very knowledgeable on the constitution of Kenya, land policy the ongoing land legislation process and other land laws.
· Very knowledgeable in conflict mitigation, management and resolution.
· Persons of high integrity.
· A proven record of respect for human rights.
Terms of references
· Develop facilitation tools to be used in the land, Town Hall meetings
· Facilitate in land Town hall meetings.
· Develop the agenda for the town hall meeting and submit to TARC for approval prior to the town hall meetings.
