KENYA INDUSTRIAL PROPERTY INSTITUTE
The Kenya Industrial Property Institute is a State Corporation under the Ministry of Industrialization established under
the Industrial Property Act 2001 to administer and promote industrial property rights (IPRs) in Kenya. Its main
functions include registration of patents, trademarks, industrial designs, utility models and technovations; promotion of
innovation and inventive activities; disseminating of IP information to the public, screening of technology transfer
agreements and licenses and offering of training in IPR.
The Institute wishes to recruit staff to fill the following posts:

Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management or its equivalent from a recognized Institution;
Duties and Responsibilities include
• Ensuring custody of all the Institute’s assets and the records thereof.
• Ensuring proper inventory control
• Maintaining up-to-date database records of suppliers
• Maintaining up-to-date records of inventory stocks, issued stocks and balances.
• Assisting in the procurement/purchasing of stores, and the implementation of Government Supply Rules and Policies.
