Administrative Assistant / Staffing Associate Job

A training and recruitment agency specializing in branded experiences is recruiting for an  Administrative Assistant / Staffing Associate

The energetic individual will work to execute all steps of the placement cycle for customers and orders while complying with company policy and code of business conduct.

This is an essential position and will ensure the day to day running of the office is carried out smoothly and will be the contact point between Management, Client and Team Members.
Start date: Immediate

Location: Valley Arcade, Gitanga Road

Job Purpose: Provides office services by implementing administrative systems, procedures, and policies, and monitoring administrative projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Staffing

  • Help develop creative recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates
  • Assist with sourcing, screening and identifying qualified candidates for job opportunities
  • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, comparing qualifications to job requirements
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting colleges, media and internet sites
  • Assign associates to relevant job assignments as needed
  • Maintain and update the employee database
  • Facilitate the agency-specific on-boarding process
  • Assist staffing specialist as needed
Office Management
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping/Accounting practices
  • Organize office operations and procedures
  • Maintain the filing system of the company such as hardcopy, softcopy that are related to the job assignments
  • Maintain office diary (bookings & project deadlines) and as well control correspondences
  • Liaise with outside agencies, organizations and groups
  • Perform other related duties as required.
The Successful Candidate MUST meet the following Requirements:
  • Degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organizational and customer skills required
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access & PowerPoint) also required
  • Capable of handling problem resolution in a calm and clear manner
  • Must have the ability to learn new software with ease
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks with superb accuracy and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
