Position: Sales Executive
Location: Nairobi
Reports To: Business Development Manager
Positions Available: Ten (10)
Overall Job Purpose: Achieve targeted levels of sales
Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify and develop sources of potential clients
- Professionally and effectively employs sales skills to achieve targeted sales
- Increase the level of sales and business mix from individual clients
- Research, build and maintain an accurate and current client and research database
- Effectively communicate with clients to gain commitment to purchase services
- Develop and maintain relationships which benefit both client and company
- Achieve sales activities within specified time scales as directed by the Business Development Manager
- Conduct targeted business development campaigns to achieve sales
- Be able to match appropriate services to client requirements
- Be able to demonstrate a full knowledge of all services, relevant selling points and benefits/advantages
- Maintain accurate records of all contacts with clients
- Handle correspondence related to all business development/selling activities
- Maintain high standard of personal presentation and professionalism at all times
- Liaise with other members of Business Development Team to actively promote sales opportunities, exchange information and increase professionalism
- Undertake all responsibilities with reference to procedures
- Undertake any duties as specified by Managing Director and/Business Development Manager
Requirements
- Marketing/Sales Diploma from a recognized institution
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal, written)
- Energetic, positive, can-do attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Can work effectively under pressure and with minimum supervision
- Well-groomed at all times
