Electrical Engineer job in Kenya

Our Client, a well established Norwegian Multinational Company based in Dubai is looking for an Electrical Engineer for their Nairobi office. 

The successful candidate will be involved in providing technical solutions to the East Africa sales team in accordance with RFPs, bids, and proposals.

Functional Expertise:

• Design and propose DC power systems, Hybrid power systems, Renewable power systems, Industrial power systems and Cooling systems for following:
• Telecom sites mainly including BTS sites, TXN sites, Hubs, Exchanges and Data centres in response to the customer RFQ’s, RFP’s, Frame Agreements, Service level agreements (SLA), R&R Agreements and Global Contracts from Telecom Operators and OEMs.
• Industrial substations mainly including Oil & Refinery control stations, Power Gen substations and Railway control stations in response to the customer RFQ’s and RFP’s from major Government bodies and industrial OEMs.
• Designing, sizing, pricing, technical compliances, commercial conditions, negotiations, on site trouble shooting and technical support.
• Provide support services in the region.
• Provide product and installation training for customers.
• Perform installation and service activities with external contractors.
• Perform R&R activities in the region.

Required skills

• Qualified Electrical Engineer.
• Bachelors degree from a recognized university.
• Post graduate qualification in engineering, MBA, PMP.
• Proven track record as a successful Technical Engineer in the power industry.
•  5+ years experience post qualification experience
• MEA Experience.
• Strong technical engineering skills.
• Commercially astute
• Ability to deliver technical solutions as part of turnkey projects.

Salary: 3000 – 4000 USD gross
