Currently the Society is seeking additional talent in the roles outlined below:
1. Internal Auditor I

1. Internal Auditor I
One Position
Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager
Main Duties
Main Duties
- Assisting in preparation of audit programmes and carrying out routine audit within the Society’s operations and activities;
- Recommending systems of internal controls and checks;
- Implementing the recommendations of the external auditors;
- Carrying out audit investigations, undertaking financial, operational and investigative audits;
- Assist in designing, developing and updating the internal audit manual detailing audit plans;
- Assist in preparing audit reports, queries and observations;
- Facilitating the periodic review of internal control systems to ensure their adequacy to prevent errors and irregularities;
- Carrying out a review of accounting, financial and budgetary systems;
- Ascertaining compliance with established, policies, plans, procedures and processes in the Society;
- Reviewing and appraising the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting financial and other operating controls and promoting effective controls;
Academic/Professional Qualifications
- Be in possession of Bachelor in Commerce or Business Administration (accounting / finance option) and CPA III with 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position or;
- CPA III and diploma in Cooperative Management or Cooperative Audit with 3 years relevant experience.
- Be in possession of CISA Certification
2. ICT Officer II
One Position
Reporting to the ICT Officer 1-
Duties and Responsibilities

- Implementing computer programs
- Providing users Support and maintaining support systems
- Training of users in computers skill and computerized related systems usage
- Supervising the repairing and maintaining of Information Communication Technology (ICT) equipments and associated peripherals
- Receiving, installing of ICT equipments
- Configuration of Local Area Network and Wide Area Network
- Logging of problems, drawing and scheduling preventive maintenance
- Assisting in carrying out feasibilities studies as assigned
- Participate in project wok as assigned
Academic/Professional Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from a recognised university with 3 years similar experience in a comparable organization
- A+, N+, and Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) qualifications essential
- Demonstrated expertise in configuring, installing and troubleshooting
- Experience with website development, HTML and SQL a plus Knowledge of DNS, TCP/IP and other networking concepts required
- Working knowledge and expertise in configuring, installing and troubleshooting financial systems such as Microsoft Navision
3. Accountant III
2 Positions

Main Duties
- Maintaining and updating the general Ledger;
- Updating cashbooks, Petty Cashbooks and preparation of Bank Reconciliation statements;
- Controlling of all accounting documents including assets;
- Supervising cash office and cheque writing operations;
- Authorization of refunds.
Academic/Professional Qualifications
- CPA II and diploma in Cooperative / Business Management with 3 years relevant experience.
- Thorough knowledge of financial and accounting software packages and high level of computer literacy.

5. Credit Assistants
Four Positions
Definition and purpose of the Position:
The position of credit officer is for the purpose of planning, managing and controlling the micro finance activities at the regions in accordance with policies and procedures established by the management.

The position of credit officer is for the purpose of planning, managing and controlling the micro finance activities at the regions in accordance with policies and procedures established by the management.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinating the micro credit Activity in the region
- Supervising the field officers
- Support income generation for enterprise and help build financially self sufficient income
- Manage funds adequately enough to meet future cash needs in consultation with finance department
- Develop financial/credit management systems and the skills required to run a successful operations
- Identify market gap when providing micro credit services
- Identify donors who are active in micro-finance and who might provide support or funding
- Acquire and develop a portfolio of qualified borrowers through controlled and timely analysis of applicant's creditworthiness
- Implement guidelines and for effective management of the accounts processing and credit administration functions established at each region
- Support appropriate guidelines and procedures for the management and control over micro credit especially for credit assessment and approval processes; credit administration and loan recovery
- Ensure that micro credit policy is clearly communicated, understood and adhered to by different stakeholders
- Coordinate mobilization activities and marketing of micro credit services
- Monitor risks exposure, portfolio composition and adequacy of provisioning levels
Academic / professional qualifications
- CPA Part 1 and two years experience in relevant similar institution and
- KCSE qualification C plain
- Diploma in business/credit/ cooperative and Possession of professional qualification in credit management will be an added advantage
- Computer Proficiency is a must
6. Field Officers / Marketing Representatives
Four Positions
Reporting to the Credit officer
Reporting to the Credit officer
- Offering liaison services including sensitization, recruitment, training, giving loans and collection of loans and savings
- Attending micro credit group weekly meetings
- Maintaining group savings and credit records of all members
- Collecting, delivering and banking the weekly group contributions , loans repayments and associated interest All delivered to the members/customer’s premises
- Communication micro credit policy and other procedures manuals and ensuring adherence to by different stakeholders.
- Timely reporting on the performance of the groups
- Identify market gap when providing micro credit services.
Academic / professional qualifications
- Certificate in business/credit/cooperative management with 2 years experience in a similar field
- Certificate in sales and marketing
- KCSE qualification C- ( C Minus)
- Computer Proficiency is a must
The above positions will be on two years renewable contract

Duties and responsibilities
- Receiving cash deposits from customers and processing the same
- Payment of withdrawals
- Cash management of the POS and ensuring the amount held is within the insured limits
- Preparation and filing of daily reports and reconcile the same
- Ensure the cash box has been locked up in the drawers before closing the day
- Marketing of the SACCOs products and Services
- Ensuring that the sales/revenue targets are met;
- Attending to customers queries
- Giving of account balances etc
- Attend to M-pesa customers
Academic / Professional Requirements:
- KCSE C-
- Certificate in Co-operative Management with 2 years relevant experience and satisfactory service or:
- CCA with 3 years or ACNC/KATC Final
- Computer Proficiency a must
