Summary: Our client is a leading FMCG company with countrywide distribution of established brands. 

They are one of the pioneers of the soft drinks industry in Kenya with a reputation of high quality soft drinks spanning over half a century, they offer drinks in line with current trends and updated in keeping with the spirit of times.

Job Objectives: Looking for a Sales Supervisor with extensive experience in Coast, Rift Valley, Western and Nairobi who will be charged with achievement of both individual and team sales targets.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Primarily charged with the achievement of both individual and team sales targets.
  • Supervision of all sales developers, merchandisers and sales promoters in the assigned region.
  • Generation of accurate reports and forecasts to facilitate sound decision making by management.
  • Management of all the distributors, directly served customers, key accounts and the general trade to ensure that they hold adequate stocks.
  • Follow up on all purchases and liaise with dispatch department to ensure all orders have been delivered.
  • Credit management to ensure that payments are received when due and that credit terms are adhered to.
  • Oversee all promotional activities within the assigned region.
  • Monitor merchandising activities to ensure that standards are met in all outlets.
  • Act as primary liaison between customers and the organization; provide feedback and solutions to customer complaints.
  • Provide market intelligence by monitoring competitors activities within the region; develop proactive strategies to counter these activities.
  • Manage outlet stock rotation to eliminate incidences of product expiry.
  • Enhance visibility by proper management of POS material placement.
  • Consistently improve on distribution by recruitment of new customers and development of new markets.
  • Motivation, development and training of supervised employees.
Experience:
  • At least 7 years relevant experience; 3 years of which must be at Supervisor Level
Skills and Certification:
  • At least an advanced diploma in Sales and Marketing or related field.
  • A bachelor’s degree would be a definite advantage 
  • Ability to lead a team and be part of a team
  • Possessing a valid driving license is necessary
  • Certificate of good conduct is mandatory
