Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible to the Manager, Marketing and Business Development, the Country Coordinator will be responsible for the Business development and marketing of ESAMI products and services and management of the Country Office in Kenya including;
- Prospect for new client/markets, make follow-up, attend to client request and call on regular clients;
- Preparing Marketing reports to help improve the quality of service delivery
- Gather relevant information on market characteristics, products, services and customer behavior and design relevant strategies
- Marketing ESAMI activities; training, consultancy and research in the country
- Designing and developing marketing instruments
- Perform public relations and publicity activities to project Positive ESAMI image
- Undertake market research and compile market reports
- Generate revenue as per target to be agreed upon from time to time
- Distribution of sales/promotional literature to the clients;
- Assess magnitude and nature of competition and advise on appropriate strategies;
- Participate in follow-up activities especially on ESAMI alumni and compiling register of alumni
- Manage both finances and office operations
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications Required
- First degree in a relevant field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a regional or international organization or Institution marketing or dealing with capacity building programmes or other related professional services.
