Taita Resource Center is a nonprofit making community based organization in Mwatate Constituency Taita Taveta County.
Our mission is to empower rural and urban poor citizens on socio-economic and transformative development.
Through the human rights education and advocacy program, Taita Resource Center (TARC) seeks to implement a land advocacy program in Taita Taveta County for a period of 5 months.
The objective of the project is to enhance public participation and engagement on land legislation and increase lobbying efforts that will lead to solving some of the land issues in Taita Taveta County.
TARC is therefore recruiting a Survey Consultant with the following qualifications
Qualifications and requirements
· Must have strong back ground in research skills.
· Must have experience in working in research related field especially with non- Govern mental organisations and international development agencies i.e. USAID Kenya.
· Must have produced at list two research documents.
· Must have a degree in social science, law or equivalent.
· A person of high integrity and respect for human rights.
· Develop and administer research tools to be used during the data collection.
· Train and supervise data collection Monitors who will collect data on land injustices in Taita. Taveta County.
· Carry out data Analysis and come out with the report within 5 days after data collection.
· Develop travel and work schedule for the data collection monitors.
· Submit work, travel schedule and the research tool to TARC for approval prior to the beginning of work.
