Kenya Power is seeking to recruit Mechanical Technicians for mechanical power plant maintenance.

Reporting to the respective Supervisor, the successful candidate will undertake the following duties;
Implementing diesel power plant maintenance and operations schedules.
Carrying out plant operations and maintenance as per Company standards.
Preparing spares purchase requisitions for power plant overhauls.
Preparing reports on repair and maintenance of generation machines.
Overseeing operations and related routine duties.
Performing any other duties as may be assigned.
Appointment Requirements
Applicants should be in possession of the following;
KCSE C- (Minus) or other comparable equivalent qualifications.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) or comparable qualifications from recognized institutions.
At least three (3) years work experience.
IT User Skills.
Assertive and team player.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
