BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
JOB PROFILE
Reporting to the Head of the publishing division, the person will be responsible for increasing
business portfolio for the MANAGEMENT magazine and the publishing section. He/she will
ensure development and implementation of business strategies. The job will also involve
consolidating and analyzing sales and market data, making business projections and preparing
reports. It will require one to conduct market intelligence, develop business plans for various
products, write proposals and make business presentations to clients. The person will be required
to provide leadership, support and growth to the sales team by way of coaching and mentoring.
PERSON PROFILE
· A business degree from a recognized university
· MBA graduate (will be an added advantage)
· Three (3) years managerial experience in sales and marketing in the media and advertising
industry
· Excellent team leadership skills
· Highly organized, creative, and passionate about sales and marketing
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· A self-motivated, results-oriented, people-person with energy and ability to inspire teams
· Knowledge of the publishing business is an added advantage
