Civil/ Structural Engineers
AMOCO Civil engineers design structures to withstand such pressures as weather and human use.
They ensure buildings and other structures don’t bend, twist, collapse or vibrate.
Structural engineers design most structures including houses, theatres, sports venues, hospitals, office blocks, bridges, oil rigs, space satellites, ships and aircraft.
They work in close partnership with architects.
Our Structural engineers have to choose appropriate materials such as bricks, concrete, wood and metal to meet design specifications.
When construction has begun, they are often involved in inspecting the work and advising contractors.
They also examine buildings and other structures to test if they are structurally sound.
Building Electrical Engineers
AMOCO Electrical engineers specialize in building design in line with our motto of DESIGN - BUILD and their daily responsibilities vary accordingly.

Overall, we expect them to design and develop lighting, wiring systems and utilities.
Our Electrical engineers are expected to be adept at using modern Computer Aided Design Software and Hardware in their day to day activities.
Requirements
- Must be a Licensed Engineer.
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position, Road construction will be an added advantage.
- A graduate degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
- Ability to manage teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
Draughtsmen (Draftsmen)
AMOCO Draughtsman, or draftsmen, produce architectural drawings as well as maps to support the functions of some of our most valued projects. This is a highly technical career requiring excellent math skills and attention to detail.
Our Draughtsment primarily use computers, and specifically computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) system.
Should have prior experience in producing architectural designs.
