industrial products derived from the wet milling of corn wishes to recruit for the following positions:
APPRENTICE ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN
Main Responsibilities
• To diagnose Electrical and Instrumentation faults and breakdowns and implement time critical repairs
• To implement planned preventive maintenance of Electrical and Instrumentation equipment in the plant
• To monitor electrical parameters in the electrical distribution board and carry out necessary corrective action
to address any deviation from the expected values
• To ensure the weighing equipment are well maintained, calibrated and duly stamped by weights &
measures inspector
• To monitor the stock levels for Electrical and Instrumentation spares and advise the Electrical/ Instrumentation
Engineer to initiate the procurement process as required
• To ensure proper setting and operation of safety shut down systems in the factory
Requirements
• An Ordinary Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or equivalent
• Good technical skills
• Experience in handling PLCs and SCADA systems an added advantage
• A team player
