Reporting to the Laundry Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for;
- Carrying out various functions within the Laundry department
- Sorting soiled personal clothing and linen, labeling and preparing for pick up
- Setting aside and reporting any damaged or marked personal clothing and linen
- Loading/unloading washing machines and dryers as required
- Adhering to departmental standard operating procedures
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
- Holder of at least a Certificate in Laundry & Housekeeping
- At least two years experience in a busy commercial dry-cleaning facility with specific experience in a guest laundry
- Specialized in guest receiving and dispatch process
- A good eye for detail
- The ability to record items accurately
- Take items from customers and give them correct documents.
- Customer service skills.
- The ability to operate machinery and follow instructions
