A leading Financial Institution in Kenya is seeking a Finance Manager to ensure that the Finance Department delivers its mandate in an efficiently and upholds all accounting standards and practices to the best of their ability.
The ideal candidates will have not less than five years experience and not older than 35 years of age.
Experience in Insurance and or Capital Markets will be an added advantage.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for the group companies
- Maintaining accounting entries for group companies
- Presentation of management account to the Board and Management on monthly basis.
- Supervision of external audits for the group companies
- Annual budget preparation for group companies.
- Preparation of monthly financials for the regulator CMA.
- Supervise processing and maintaining general ledger accounts for supplier transactions for the Group.
- Managing receivables and payables for the group companies.
- Maintaining asset registers for the group companies.
- Supervision and review of bank reconciliations for the group companies
- Approval and verification of procurement supplies for the group companies
- Managing cash flows and credit control for the group companies.
- Management of payroll for the group companies.
- Managing the finance department for the group companies
- Analyzing and review of cost saving measures for the group companies.
- Managing accounting systems for the group companies.
Required Skills and Knowledge
- University degree, preferably in a Business related field.
- Professional qualifications CPA (K)/ACCA
- Member of ICPAK
- Computer Literate
- Excellent communicator, collaborator and team player
