Position: Senior Analyst / Developer
As a result of our continued business growth, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer with a strong background in building scalable, predictable, high-quality and high-performance applications on the Microsoft technology stack.
As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external-facing applications.
Main Purpose of the Job:
This person will report to the Chief Information Officer and will work with a team of experienced analysts, developers and business resources to build highly-performing enterprise systems that improve clinical outcomes and increase staff productivity and financial performance.
Key Performance Areas
Responsible for providing software solutions to organizational problems through:
- Design, development, support and maintenance of relevant software
- Create and implement validation and testing systems, configuration management and version control
- Design and implement databases and ETL procedures which allow data loading from outside sources;
- To provide system level support for other systems through integration of in-house developed products with off-the shelf solutions and payment channels. The integration effort should include installation, tuning, user problem resolution, and the development of software to turn these components into fully integrated systems.
- Consult with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives;
- Responsible for writing documentation to describe custom configuration of applications and operating procedures to liaison with 3rd party application development consultants;
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing Microsoft based systems;
- Investigate and resolve application functionality related issues and provide first level support and troubleshooting of in-house systems
- Champion implementation of innovative solutions arising out of the ICT department and the business
Minimum Educational Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business / IT will be preferred
- Project management knowledge will be preferred
- Technical Skill and Ability
- 5 year experience in the following technologies:
- Visual Studio 2010 using C#
- WCF
- MVC
- Windows Forms
- HTML5, CSS3, Jscript, Ajax, bootstrap
- Windows Services
- SQL Server 2008 and 2012 (TSQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
- IIS
- Web services
- Proficient in using TFS and Source control within the MS VS Environment.
