Our client challenges convention in all areas and offers market leading products and services to customers, and is preparing to be a very dominant player in the energy sector, having recently engaged with a boutique of international investors.
In order to grow locally and set up a platform for the region, our client seeks to hire a Marketing Manager, Exports who will lead a sales and marketing team in the country and specifically and personally manage exports.
The position is responsible for all sales and marketing challenges in Kenya and in the region, and in this position, you will be team leader of the entire sales and marketing operation.You will be an integral member of the senior management team.
Qualifications, experience and Skill
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing or the sciences. Related work experience in the energy sector is an added advantage.
- Minimum experience of 5 years in designing and implementing capacity building programs for sales teams.
- A good understanding of oil, gas and solar energy systems both at corporate and retail levels
- Leadership skills with direct sales managers to ensure high levels of motivation and top notch skills in consultative and solution oriented sales approaches.
- Knowledge in people skills development.
- Proven experience in developing account penetration and development strategies, conducting calls, qualifying prospects, lead identification and strategy, making sales presentations, closing techniques, and developing service and pricing proposals.
- Demonstrate success at working in a fast-paced, highly-competitive, deadline-oriented environment.
- The position requires a strong emphasis on the ability to listen and lead marketing teams.
