Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monthly – IS, TB
- Monthly – sales and purchase reports
- Daily – Bank rec Future Kenya Ltd and FSL
- Year End – audit
- Daily – invoicing
- Daily – GRN, Supplier Invoices
- Monthly 20th – VAT
- Monthly – With-holding Tax Certificates received and credit notes processed.
- Payroll Processing and PAYE by 9th of month + NSSF, NHIF
- WITHOLDING TAX processing
- Supplier payments and reconciliation and reporting Age Analysis to directors
- Customer reconciliation , payment collections and reporting Age Analysis to directors
- Customers – Recurring monthly billing for service contracts
- Customers – Annual monthly billing for service contracts (every month)
- When required – Sales Job orders
- When required – quotations
- When required – purchase orders
- Daily – updating incidents
- Administration – when required
- Before 20th – payment of all recurring bills
- By 30th – Payroll is processed, adjust tardiness, prepare salary vouchers/remittances and adjust loans/advances
- Daily – petty cash posting and cash balance
- Budgets – Budgeting and Performance reporting
- Performance – Sales by Consultant and Time analysis.
- Annual Audits and compliance with auditors requirements
- Filing You must be fully versed with
- Cheque Payment Vouchers (old and current)
- VAT Returns
- PAYE Returns’
- Withholding Tax Returns/Certificates
- Audit and Audit Adjustments
- Bank statement, Cheque Book stubs – local and foreign currency
- Customer Invoices and Credit Notes
- Supplier Invoices and Return and Debits
- Certified CPA/ACCA/Finance/Accounting option
- Inclined to a Software Based Accounting & IT Environment. Where applicable, indicate experience of having worked on an Accounting software system implementation.
- Confident Computer and MS Office usage skills
- Experience in Software setup, Implementation, Training and support will be of added advantage
- Possess operational knowledge of Accounting Software. In depth knowledge in Sage, Pastel, Sage Pastel Evolution, TALLY or equivalent will boost your application Candidates with IT and Database knowledge will have an added advantage
