Our company is a fast growing training company with innovative and unique high end financial training products.
We are now seeking a Head of Sales and Marketing to grow our business into the greater East African Region.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
Forecast Costs, sales volumes, profit margins, and net profit and achieve clearly defined, mutually agreed upon revenue/gross profit targets
Manage the sales process, initiate and grow training product sales
Deliver innovative business models, branding, and marketing approaches
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales methods, costs, and results.
Plan and coordinate public affairs, and communications efforts, to include public relations and community outreach.
Other duties as assigned.
Key Deliverables
Grow sales for the company's financial and training products, hit agreed volume targets in 18 months
Maintain and develop a computerized customer and prospect database.
Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by post, telephone, and personal visits.
Develop and continuously evaluate/adjust promotional and advertising activities
Manage and meet marketing expense budgets
Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
Directly manage major and critical client accounts, develop and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
Participate in the development of new project proposals.
Develop company sales, marketing and communications materials.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing or other relevant discipline
Strong direct and remote sales skills.
Extremely comfortable dealing at senior levels. Must bring strong negotiating skills and ability to close.
Excellent communications skills: Must have experience crafting and presenting effective proposals, and bring strong demonstrations skills
Responsible and resourceful manager who operates effectively without supervision from Nairobi Headquarters. This position requires travel.
