Job Responsibilities:
Oversee provision of care to critically ill patients admitted in the unit
Teach, Supervise and provide leadership to junior doctors including performance management
Provide emergency support to ensure timely and optimal delivery of quality patient care
Offer clinical support during emergencies including resuscitation
Read, analyze and interpret patient’s reports and discuss the same with consulting doctors for effective management and care of the patients
Liaise with consultants in the management of their patients at the Unit
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Must be registered with the MPDB and have a current valid practicing license.
Practicing Medical Doctor with Post graduate qualifications in Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine and/or Critical care medicine will be an added advantage.
A minimum of 2 years working experience in Intensive Care Unit.
