Reporting to Head- Card and E-Channels, Information Technology Department, the role holder will be responsible for the day to day support/supervision and administrative management of the Card Suite, Switching System, System Interfacing and roll-out of projects relating to card products.

Job Summary
Reporting to Head- Card and E-Channels, Information Technology Department, the role holder will be responsible for the day to day support/supervision and administrative management of the Card Suite, Switching System, System Interfacing and roll-out of projects relating to card products.
In addition he/she is expected to provide support for all other systems managed by the unit such as Internet Banking and Mobile Banking.
Main DutiesThe Key Responsibilities will among others include:
- Ensure that systems are available for business use at all times
- Ensure that all system processes and procedures are carried out effectively
- Ensure that the systems provide business reports as required by the business
- Ensure that the resources of the systems are properly managed
- Application tuning and performance monitoring
- Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
- Implement and maintain database security
- Attend to system failure and resolve or coordinate the resolution of the problem
- Engage in software installation, upgrades, and system enhancements
- Maintain the required system configuration and parameterization
- Ensure compliance to change process and sign-offs
- Ensure compliance of Visa related transaction with the set rules
- Monthly reviews of passwords changes and removal / revoking when necessary
- Ensure policies, procedures and guidelines for information processing and outputs are well documented, details available and well understood
- Safe keeping of main passwords
- Software security assurance and confidentiality maintenance
- Identifying and fixing technical problems associated with systems
- Evaluation and assessment of technical requirements for systems implementation (needing) or requiring enhancements
- Performing systems upgrades, updates when they are due in collaborations with Vendors
- Technical certification of systems implemented
- Housekeeping of client software installed in Card Center
Job Specification
The incumbent will be required to possess the following qualifications and attributes/skills:

- Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science
- Higher diploma in Computer science
- Must have at least 5 years working experience with 2 years in I.T Department
- Hands on experience in Cards, ATMs and e-business systems
- Possess excellent leadership skills with good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Project Management skills
- Possess high level of integrity and commitment to work
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work with minimal or without supervision.
