Head of Investor Relations
Reporting to the Group CFO, the Head of Investor Relations will be responsible for developing, managing and implementing a comprehensive investor relations program.

The role is responsible for broadening investor interest in KCB and it serves as the primary contact for investors, shareholders and analysts.

- Formulate and execute an integrated investor relations strategy that advances KCB’s business strategy and growth objectives.
- Keep current on trends and market opinions on KCB and provide strategic recommendations on investment, operating and financial decisions to the KCB Senior Management and Board.
- Develop and maintain a high level of awareness of KCB and its products by educating investors and potential investors.
- Develop and roll out a communication plan on key investor messages and ensure that accurate and consistent information is provided on a timely basis to all current and future investors as well as analysts.
- Proactively participate in media interviews and handle media enquiries as appropriate.
- Development of programs and schedules for investor roadshows and meetings. Includes travel on a regular basis to meet with current and potential investors.
- Provide feedback to KCB’s senior management on the effectiveness of the Investor relations strategy
- Co-ordinate and drive participation in quarterly earnings conference calls.

- An undergraduate degree in a business related field
- An MBA/business related Master’s Degree will be an added advantage
- Relevant professional qualifications
- At least 8 years’ senior level experience with the proven ability to develop and successfully execute investor relations programs.
- Ability to communicate technical banking and financial issues to investors.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and established credibility with investment analysts.
- The proven ability to build and maintain strategic business relationships with the media and investment community.
- Strong leadership skills with demonstrated competencies in championing customer focus.
- Demonstrated capacity to lead, coach and supervise team members effectively to deliver on business targets.
