Responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the market and closing business relationships.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Maximize contacts with new relationships and strengthening the existing ones.
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
- Foster and develop positive customer relationships, which result in increased business. Understand customer needs and assist in the development of project solutions that satisfy those requirements
- Plan approaches and pitches.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence for new projects and opportunities.
- Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new products, services and distribution channels
- Drive peak performance and sales success across the organization
- Create, negotiate and close commercial agreements
- Ensure liaison with other departments as appropriate in relation to proposals, projects, legal, financing, tax, or other issues.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Come up with new business ideas or better ways of carrying out the business processes
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, products and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
Qualifications and Skills
- Masters degree in Business Administration with a bachelors degree in business administration / management
- Working experience of 7-8 years preferably with market knowledge in the oil sector and dealt with global clients
- Exceptional customer awareness and sales skills in the business development and marketing aspects
- Fully conversant in modern computer aided planning technologies and Operations Management processes.
- A working knowledge of national and international copyright law is essential
- Excellent Networking skills and all rounded individual.
