Product Engineers
Product Engineers
(2 Positions)

Reporting to the General Manager, Product Engineering & Bodybuilding the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
- Provision of Technical support and guidance in design and quality standards
- Product and process improvement
- Identifying potential suppliers of components
- Conducting supplier source audits
- Monitoring and providing performance feedback to suppliers
- Initiating local content and validation of components
- Implementing engineering changes
- Developing quality inspection procedures
- Implementing initiatives to reduce product cost
- Management of Bill of Materials ( BOM)
- Supplier evaluation and development
Minimum Requirements:
- Upper second class (Hons) Degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Production Engineering
- Lean Manufacturing and Quality Control standards
- Knowledge of Autocad application
- Project management, analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills

Supervisor, Customs & Logistics
Ref: HRM 08/12
Reporting to the General
Manager - Manufacturing, Purchasing & Supply Chain, the successful
candidate will be responsible for the overall supervision of the Customs
(in-bound clearance, warehousing, ex-warehousing and exports) and
Logistics functions to ensure the following:
- Timely clearance of all imports
- Effective Management of the bonded warehouse, export customs and logistics operations to East Africa Community and other Sub-Saharan Africa Markets
- Compliance with customs regulations (Kenya and other import/export countries) and GM customs policies
- Liaison and follow up with shipping lines for speedy delivery of imported materials
- Allocation/Distribution of customs clearing documents to clearing agents and Coordination of clearing process and goods delivery from port(s) of discharge to GMEA
- Maintenance of Customs Records
- Proper warehousing of goods in the bonded warehousing
- Effective execution of ex-warehousing customs entries
- Application for bonds as required and prompt cancellation/retirement as necessary
- Manage movement of vehicles/parts invoiced to export market up to the final destination (import country)
- Representing the company on regional integration matters (EAC, COM ESA and any other trade blocks)
- Customs and Logistics stakeholders Management

- Diploma in Clearing and Forwarding
- Training in Kenya Revenue Authority customs system
- East African Customs and Freight Forwarders Practicing Certificate

Aftersales Accountant

Reporting to the Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
- Aftersales (Parts, Service and Bodyshop) costing and pricing as per policy
- Preparation of month end journals for Aftersales
- Accounting for all monthly direct shipments to Dealers and Goods in transit
- Continuous review of Aftersales cost factors
- Compliance with the revenue recognition policy and related company internal control procedures

Production Supervisor, Material Handling

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
- Production Material Handling management
- Preparing and maintaining monthly Production Material schedules
- Compiling and distributing monthly production reports
- Drive improvement in material handling process
- Maintaining safety and good housekeeping standards in line with Environmental, Health & Safety Policies

Transport Supervisor

Reporting to the General Manager- Human Resources, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions:
- Preparation and management of company Transport Budget
- Employee Transport
- Company Fleet management and Reporting - Expenditure, insurance and disposal
- Driver Training
- Compliance with all Government and GMEA transport policies, legislation and procedures
