Role Objective
Highly talented and resourceful Guesthouse Sales Representative with great experience in developing and implementing total sales and marketing effort for hotels, including securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and assist in executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Role Objective
Highly talented and resourceful Guesthouse Sales Representative with great experience in developing and implementing total sales and marketing effort for hotels, including securing new accounts, maintaining existing accounts, and assist in executing sales and marketing strategies to maximize the profitability of the hotel while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Key duties:
- Sell guestrooms and conference facilities through direct client contact to maximize total rooms revenues and profits.
- Contacts representatives of government, business, associations, and social groups to solicit business for the guesthouse to ensure that predetermined sales expectations are met and exceeded.
- Negotiate guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and guesthouse services within approved booking guidelines.
- Confirm in writing to the client all requirements via sales contract.
- Conduct tours of the guesthouse and banquet facilities; entertain qualified potential clients in accordance with company and property policies and procedures.
- Assist with the implementation and achievement of the Sales Marketing plan.
- Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner.
- Follows up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Prepare quotations for current and prospective customers,
- Prepare and submit daily and monthly sales reports,
Requirements:
- Diploma in Sales and Marketing from a recognized institution,
- At least 1 year experience in sales; those with experience in hospitality will have an added advantage
- Must be results oriented and able to work under minimum supervision
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to perform outside direct sales
- Excellent guest relation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills needed to cultivate customer relations
Salary:
An attractive salary package together with commissions will be offered to the selected candidate
